Our family-owned hotel was renovated with ecological and Feng-Shui-principles in mind - now it's a warm, inviting and ecologically friendly haven. We're located just outside the historic town of Ansbach, in wonderful timbered surrounding.Food and beverages
Our small restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 14:30 to 21.30, and on Sundays from 14:30 to 18.00.In the afternoon, let our friendly staff spoil you with coffee, organic ice-cream from Racchelli or a hearty plate of traditional Bavarian snacks (a "Vesper" plate). You can enjoy our delicious hot meals from 18.00.
Tourists information
On the map you will find us at the end of the street "Am Bocksberg", directly at the border of the forest.Take the autobahn A6 exit Herrieden, further on to Elpersdorf, then pass the B14 towards Geisengrund, follow the street till the centre of the town Schalkhausen, at the Sparkasse turn left, next crossing (Sonnenstraße) turn right and follow the signs, even if it looks like endless forest area.
From Nuremberg/Wurzburg take the B13 and leave it towards Feuchtwangen, at the traffic lights turn right towards Schalkhausen/Leutershausen, in Schalkhausen further on as mentioned above.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
