All rooms are cheerfully furnished and provide a homely atmosphere. We want to make sure that you will have pleasant memories of your stay with us.Our spacious and luxurious junior and business suites are located on the 10th through 16th floors high above the city, providing a breathtaking view of Berlin’s rooftops. All suites include kitchens, which can be equipped to meet the requirements of our long term guests. Business suites have 2 separate rooms.
Food and beverages
For a refreshing start to your day, we pamper you with a rich breakfast buffet in the morning. The breakfast buffet is available to you from 06:30 to 10:30.From Monday to Friday, you can have lunch at the hotel. We offer daily changing, varied business lunches, consisting of 2 main courses and several starters and desserts. Our guests can end the evening pleasantly at the hotel bar. The main lobby bar serves cocktails, drinks and draught beer. We look forward to welcoming you there.
The "American Coffee Shop" serves breakfast specials and various small dishes and snacks throughout the day.
Tourists information
Due to the central location of our hotel, you can reach us easily by car, by train (Station Zoo) or by plane (Tegel Airport).By plane:
From the Tegel Airport, you can reach our hotel in just 20 minutes by taxi. If you wish to use public transportation, take the X9 bus to "Bahnhof Zoo" and change to bus line 100. The "Schillstraße" bus stop is directly at our hotel.
By train:
From "Bahnhof Zoo", you can get here in around 5 minutes by taxi or you can take the 100 bus line.
By car:
You need to choose the "Tiergarten“ district if you use a navigation system.
Coming from the North:
Head on the A10 motorway (Berliner Ring) until you reach "Dreieck Oranienburg“, there you have to change on to the A111. Go onto the A100 in the direction of "Zentrum/Wilmersdorf“ until you reach the gateway "Spandauer Damm“. At the traffic lights, you have to turn right. Proceed straight on until you reach a traffic circle (Ernst-Reuter-Platz). Turn right at the traffic circle and leave at the second gateway (Hardenbergstraße). Again, proceed straight on, you will see the Zoo Station on your left hand side and after 500 metres, you will see the Hotel Sylter Hof Berlin on your right hand side.
Coming from the South:
Head on the A10 motorway (Berliner Ring) until you reach "Dreieck Drewitz“. There you have to change onto the A115 (in the direction of Berlin-Zehlendorf and Berlin-Zentrum). Then you have to change again to the A100 in the direction of "Hamburg, Stadtring Nord“ until you reach the "Spandauer Damm“ gateway. At the traffic lights, you have to turn right. Straight on until you reach a traffic circle (Ernst-Reuter-Platz). Turn right at the traffic circle and leave at the 2nd gateway (Hardenbergstraße). Proceed straight on again, you will see the Zoo Station on your left hand side and after 500 metres, you will see the Hotel Sylter Hof Berlin on your right hand side.
You will find enough parking places behind the hotel.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
