Arriving by car:Via the A1 from Bremen, Hanover, Cologne and Bielefeld:
- Exit at Hamburg-Süd
- Follow the A255 towards the centre and the main railway station ("Centrum" and "Hauptbahnhof")
- Continue towards CCH/Bahnhof Dammtor
- Turn right at Stephansplatz to enter Dammtordamm
- Continue straight ahead in the middle lane and go over the junction
- Take the third road on your right ("Fontenay")
Via the A1/ A24 from Lübeck and Berlin:
- At the junction Hamburg-Ost, turn towards Jenfeld and continue as far as the roundabout at Horn
- Turn right into Sievekingsallee, which then becomes Bürgerweide (keep in the right-hand lane)
- Turn right into Wallstraße and go straight ahead at the large junction to enter the road Sechslingspforte
- Turn left into the road An der Alster and continue as far as Dammtor station
- Turn right just before the Shell petrol station and drive along the middle lane
- Take the third road on your right ("Fontenay")
Arriving via the A7/ A23 from Flensburg, Kiel, Itzehoe and Elmshorn:
- Exit at Stellingen and continue along Kieler Straße towards the centre ("Centrum")
- After approx. 4km turn left at Eimsbütteler Marktplatz
- Follow the course of the road for approx. 5km
- At Dammtor station, turn left behind the Shell petrol station
- Continue in the middle lane and take the third road on your right ("Fontenay")
Arriving by public transport:
From the main railway station:
- Take the S-Bahn (city rail) line S31 or S21 and travel for one stop until you reach Dammtor station
- From there, take the bus number 109 and get out at the next stop, Fontenay, or walk this distance in 10 minutes
From the airport:
- Take the shuttle service to the main railway station and follow the above directions
